Hello Reclaimers,

Coming in hot with day one (day two? not sure. Thursday in any case) a few patch fixes as mentioned in this post. With love, - The Ghost Ship crew

--- PATCH NOTES ---

  • Tutorial post-processing effects: Reduced default levels of aberration and toned down ‘pulse’ effect.

  • Made it so that enabling Photosensitivity Mode disables pulse effect.

  • Added a prompt drawing attention to the photosensitivity mode at the start of the tutorial

  • Made the Workbench Toolbox larger on Terrain Scanner to increase visibility

  • Added better default sorting to server list to prevent many players trying to join the same servers at the same time.

  • Added a better fix so we only ping the server list every 60 seconds while still doing updates every 15, so the server list keeps being responsive

  • Limited frequency with which Discord checks whether you have joined our Discord server (Used to check every 5 seconds, now checks every 60 seconds), reducing server strain

  • Fixed an issue with joining via Steam while already in an active server. By postponing the destruction of the game connection until a join is successfully made, this should resolve the issue of a disconnect happening while joining the other server. For players, this looked like getting stuck in black screen for a minute.

  • Fixed the host’s server list lobby not updating itself in the server list in rare cases

  • Extended the time before Critical Threat Level on Depth 1 by 10%

  • Extended the time before Critical Threat Level on Depth 2 by 5%

  • Tweaked the enemy spawn cycle for elevator defense sequence to give players more space to recover and repair

  • Slowed down the rate at which enemy spawns increase when you hit Critical Threat Level

  • Smoothed out the stage difficulty increase on Depths 1 

  • Temporarily disabled frame generation due to it crashing the game during loading screens. We will bring it back later after we have time to investigate and fix the issues.

  • Fixed a crash on shutdown where the online service hasn't finished some calls to the backend, causing the final returns to attempt to use a deleted object

  • Fixed players getting stuck mining if they were mining when the upgrade negotiations start.

  • Fixed interactions breaking if player ability is active when upgrades negotiation starts, which made it so you sometimes couldn’t interact with objects

  • A bunch of smaller and some big crash fixes

  • Added 3 new tracks to the jukebox: blues, jazz, jungle (We need jungle, I’m afraid)
