How to Use the Workbench

The Workbench is the persistent-upgrade station on the RV-09 Ramrod. Spend Chips earned on dives to buy Enhancement tiers. Mods carry between runs unlike Bio-Boosters.

FROM THE RECLAIMER HANDBOOK

ENHANCEMENT CHIPS

Enhancement Chips are your currency for unlocking Enhancements. Completing missions will reward you with Reclaimer Points — earn enough of these, and you'll automatically receive a new Enhancement Chip.

Collecting Security Cameras from mining facilities will give you a boost to your Reclaimer Points reward, speeding your overall acquisition of Enhancement Chips.

GUIDE / 02ECONOMY

Expenite + Levelling Up

Expenite is the in-mission currency. Mine chunks, kill Expenite Loot Bugs (8-12 chunks each), and trigger the Transmutator event (8 Expenite per kill for 70 seconds). Banked Expenite gates Bio-Booster pulls at the negotiator.

GUIDE / 03BUILDS

Bio-Boosters Explained

Bio-Boosters are mid-run card pulls from your selected deck. 49 cards across 13 decks, each stacking an effect that resets at extraction. Pick the deck at the Mission Terminal -- the deck-pick is half the build.

FROM THE RECLAIMER HANDBOOK

BIO-BOOSTER UPGRADES

Bio-Booster upgrades are found on each facility level. These foul vials of refined Expenite derivatives tamper with the internal workings of the users body and bolsters the users inherent talents.

Each Class has a set of Bio-Booster paths containing Bio-Booster upgrades. Whenever you open a Bio-Booster container you are presented with two random upgrades from one of the randomly selected Bio-Booster paths.

Boss Fight Basics

Depth 3 and Depth 4 dives end in a boss room. Three confirmed apex threats: Gotoorak, Malaktula, Ramok. Each carries unique attack patterns -- learn the telegraphs before committing to depth 4.

FROM THE RECLAIMER HANDBOOK

CORE SPAWN SOURCE

Core Spawn are entering our facilities through some sort of portal, for operational purposes called a Rift Gate. This is located at the lowest level of the facility, closest to the planet's core.

Once you reach this level, you need to destroy the Rift Gate in order to consider the mission a success. The Rift Gate will be well-defended — expect fierce resistance.

GUIDE / 05FIELD SKILLS

Drilling + Mining Tips

Mining is the supply line. Drill speeds vary with class -- Slicer chews through walls fast; Guardian relies on Pickaxe power-attacks. Carving radius and yield are tunable via the Miners Gear Enhancement.

GUIDE / 06SURVIVAL

Surviving Hazards

Red Sugar restores health, but it's gated. Manage armor (Armor Pack from carved deposits), watch for environmental affliction overlays (Sticky Goo, Frozen), and bank shields with Resilience.

FROM THE RECLAIMER HANDBOOK

HEALTH AND ARMOR

The most important resources for your survival are your Health and your Armor. Health can be restored by mining the fortifying and delicious edible mineral known as Red Sugar. Armor will not regenerate when depleted — it must be replenished via Munitions Crates and Armor Packs.

If you notice your squadmates are in need of healing, you might ping Red Sugar with your Laser Pointer to direct their attention.

Managing Ammo

Always keep an eye on the resources of you and your team. You don't want to face down a wave of enemies with an empty gun. Check the ammo indicators often of the team display.

ALTERATIONS

Some mining facilities may be affected by peculiar local phenomena which may or may not be associated with the Grayout anomaly. These unusual sites will be labeled with Alterations in the Mission terminal.

Alterations may change the rules of engagement, or introduce special modifiers that will challenge and disrupt your approach to the mission.
