GAMEPLAY CONTEXT

How Enhancements Work

Enhancements are the persistent meta-progression system in DRG: Rogue Core. Unlike Bio-Boosters that reset every dive, Enhancement mods carry between runs permanently. Spend Enhancement Chips at the Ramrod Enhancement Terminal to unlock nodes in the tree. Each node grants one tier of a specific enhancement family -- Running Blades in this case.

Scaling Per Tier

Running Blades has 4 tiers with progressively stronger effects. Tier 1 costs 1 Enhancement Chip, while Tier 4 costs 4 chips and sits behind later Merit gates in the tree. Higher tiers often stack additional effects on top of the base bonus.
